Privacy
We collect the absolute minimum amount of data and keep it encrypted.
- No tracking
- This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- It loads nothing from third parties. Every file, the typefaces included, is served from our own domain.
- What we receive
- Only what you choose to send us: a name, which may be a pseudonym, one way to reach you, and your message. The same holds if you write to us by email or Signal.
- We do not record your IP address, your device or your browser. As with any website, your IP address passes through our hosting provider, which uses it momentarily to deliver the pages and to block abuse.
- Why we use it
- For one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, where an engagement follows, to carry it out. We do so at your request and with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- No trade
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, nor share it for advertising. We do not use it for marketing, profiling or automated decisions.
- Security
- The site is served only over an encrypted connection. Enquiries are encrypted in transit and at rest, and are seen only by those within the firm who need them.
- For end-to-end encryption, write to us on Signal.
- Who else
- Our hosting and email providers handle enquiries on our behalf, under contract and only as far as delivering the service requires. Some operate in countries other than your own, under the safeguards the applicable law prescribes.
- No one else receives your details unless the law compels it.
- How long
- For as long as it takes to answer your enquiry and to serve any engagement that follows. Ask, and we delete it sooner.
- Your rights
- Wherever you live, you may at any time ask for a copy of your details, have them corrected, restricted or deleted, object to our use of them, or withdraw your consent.
- We answer within one month, at no charge, and never treat anyone differently for asking. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
- Minors
- This site is not directed at anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly receive their details.
